Terms and Conditions Terms and Conditions When buying from MowShop which is a trading name of Tallis Amos Group Ltd. the following terms and conditions apply: Product Prices: Delivery is included for most products on the GB mainland, except for Isle of Wight, Offshore Islands and some areas in Scotland (principally but not exclusively postcodes KW, PA, IV, and PH although some AB and other postcodes may be included). To these areas there is a delivery charge of £24.00 (inclusive of VAT) for ALL garden machinery products except very heavy items such as tractors, ride on lawnmowers etc (mainly pallet deliveries) which start from £48.00 depending on your postcode and the size of the pallet. Please feel free to contact us on 0345 222 1538 should you require confirmation of any extra delivery costs to areas in Scotland or not on the mainland i.e Isle of Wight or any Offshore Island. We cannot deliver any items to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Eire or Europe. Payment We offer a secure means of ordering and paying for your products via this site. All online credit card payments are secured through a Secure Server Layer to protect your data. Our servers are rigorously tested to the meet PCIDSS (Payment Card Information Data Security Standard) Alternatively, you can order and pay by telephone (0345 222 1538) or pay by cheque (made payable to Tallis Amos Group). We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods you order before your order can be accepted. Our acceptance of your order will bring into existence a legally binding contract between us. Acceptance will occur on either the debiting of your credit card or the clearance of your cheque. A contract will not affect your statutory rights. Delivery Most products are kept in stock, and we aim to deliver your order within 1- 2 working days. If the item is out of stock, we will keep you informed of any major delays. MowShop shall not be held liable for any delays in delivering goods, nor shall they be held liable for delays caused to customers work commitments due to your order not arriving on time. MowShop shall not be liable to customers for charges for hire of alternate machinery or labour. MowShop will not be liable for compensation of any kind due to late delivery of machinery or failure of machinery or damage to property from delivery. Delivery of products is usually 1-2 days from receipt of order and clearance of payment. Delivery of tractors is usually 3 – 7 working days after receipt of order. Products will be despatched to your preferred address directly from our distributors. A detailed receipt, together with a copy of the credit card payment receipt, will be posted separately to you. Spare and Replacement Parts Orders Parts advice and orders can only be researched based on the information supplied by the customer. It is your responsibility as the customer to check the information you provide is correct for your machinery. Special Order spare parts are supplied on a non-returnable basis. No refunds can be given for parts that have been ordered specially for the customer which ultimately turn out to be incorrect. A Special Order is when the customer has provided the details, description and /or part number themselves. Product Warranties All garden machinery products carry the appropriate manufacturers’ warranties. Warranty information displayed in our online catalogue applies to DOMESTIC use of products. For COMMERCIAL use, different warranties usually apply – please enquire for details. Cancelling Orders If you have placed an order on Mowshop.com we can cancel the order and do a full refund if you have notified us of the cancellation within 15 minutes of placing the order, please call 0345 222 1538. Cancellation Rights: Returns & Refunds after delivery: https://mowshop.com/refund-returns/ In accordance with existing UK Distance Selling Regulations and the SafeBuy Web Trader Code you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods if you wish to return the items. To be eligible for a return, ensure that the goods remain unused and are retained in their original packaging and are in the same condition that you received it. You must contact us before returning an item on 0345 222 1538, failure to do so may result in us being unable to action the refund process. We take no responsibility for items that are returned without prior contact or without authorisation from ourselves. You must return your products within 30 days of delivery at your own cost and risk. Returns should be sent to MOWSHOP, Tallis Amos, Allscott, Telford TF6 5ED. We will refund the price you paid for such goods within 30 days of the date of receiving the returned items, provided that the goods are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. Items returned without prior agreement will be refused and returned to sender resulting in you being liable for an extra charge from the couriers. If MowShop arranges to collect your items the cost to the buyer would be £36. This amount will be deducted from any refundable amount. If the returned item has been USED or isn’t in its ORIGINAL PACKAGING devaluing the goods resulting in handling them beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics or functioning of the goods we will deduct a reasonable amount from the refund, up to the contract price to cover us being unable to resell the item for its full value. We advise you take photos of the item and packaging before returning as a record of its condition, in the event of any damage acquired by the couriers when in transit. Please ensure there is no petrol or oil in the products and any batteries are disconnected before returning the items. Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. We will require a receipt or proof of purchase. The item must be boxed and package correctly as advised by the courier, a courier will refuse to collect the item if it is not properly boxed and we will charge for failed collections. The product remains yours until successfully received and signed for by a member of Mowshop. Failed Deliveries If the item is returned back to ourselves as undelivered due to customer refusing delivery or missing multiple attempted deliveries of, we can refund or resend the order, however there will be a charge to cover the attempted deliveries, return delivery and admin costs. SafeBuy: The SafeBuy Code requires that we allow a 14 day ‘cooling off’ period for returns (except for consumables and bespoke services). Faulty Goods: If the goods turn out to be faulty or different from those you ordered, you may return them after notifying us on 0345 222 1538 about the problem with the goods and your intention to return them. You must return them within 30 days of the date of their delivery to you to our contact address. We will refund the price you paid for such goods provided that the goods are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. Exchanges: Please contact us if your item is defective or damaged and a replacement can be arranged. Shipping: Return your items to: MOWSHOP, Tallis Amos, Allscott, Telford TF6 5ED You must pay for your own shipping costs when returning an item unless the item is deemed faulty. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If shipping an item worth over £50 it is advised, you use the trackable shipping service. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
