The driver’s seat can be moved and adjusted to a comfortable height, tool-free. The wide step through on the ride-on mower provides easy access to the drivers seat, so you don’t need to clamber over the machine to get comfortable. With the single pedal drive, the direction of travel can be conveniently switched between forward and reverse gear using a hand lever to quickly manoeuvre the mower. The mowing deck blades can also be engaged and disengaged very easily by simply pushing a switch on the control panel. The 250 litre grass catcher box can be easily opened from the driver’s seat by pulling the curve shaped handle, whereby the clippings are completely tipped out. The clever catching system ensures the best possible gathering of the grass across the entire cutting width. You can also optionally retrofit this ride-on mower with a mulch insert. Mulching finely shreds the grass and deposits the clippings on the lawn, acting as a natural fertiliser to promote healthy lawn growth. The RT 4082 comes with a 5 year extended warranty (subject to registration and annual servicing).
Turf tyres The large turf tyres of the STIHL ride-on mower help to protect the lawn. Thanks to their rounded tyre design, they reduce the formation of driving tracks.
Trailer hitch The integral trailer hitch enables easy mounting of attachments such as the convenient PICK UP 300 tilting trailer, which can also be used as a wheel barrow.
Central cutting height adjustment The lever to adjust the deck cutting height is located directly next to the driver’s seat. It enables individual adjustment of the cutting height in up to eight steps.
Robust frame The robust frame construction gives the mower a high level of stability and driving comfort. The STIHL ride-on mowers compact design is great for using attachments such as the AGW 098 garden roller or PICK 300 tilting trailer.
Spring-loaded and adjustable seat The most comfortable seat position can be set without the use of tools. This allows individual adjustment of the driver’s seat to almost any body size.
Small turning circle Thanks to their compact housing design, STIHL ride-on mowers are suitable for narrow passages and lawns with lots or trees and obstacles. The unobstructed forward view makes it easier to manoeuvre the mower.
Low step The low step on the STIHL ride-on mowers provides ample legroom and allows for comfortable access to the seat.
Catching management system The catching system guides the grass blades across the entire working width of the mowing deck. It helps to guide the grass towards the mowing blades for a more efficient cut.
Grass catcher box with bow handle The polymer grass catcher box can be emptied effortlessly from the driver’s seat simply using the curved shaped handle. The “dumper” design ensures optimum filling and residual-free emptying of the grass catcher box. Cleaning the catcher box is also easy.
Single pedal drive With the STIHL single pedal drive, the direction of travel can be conveniently switched between forward and reverse gear using a hand lever for quick manoeuvring. The pressure-sensitive pedal allows for precise control of the speed between top speed and standstill. The separate brake pedal ensures immediate stopping.
Electromagnetic blade clutch (EBC) The mowing deck can be easily engaged and disengaged by a switch situated on the control panel.
Mulching function With the mulch insert, the STIHL ride-on mowers can be converted into mulching mowers. The grass catcher box is simply removed and the mulch insert pushed into the grass catcher chute. This allows the grass to be shredded into fine particles inside the closed housing before they fall back into the turf, returning vital nutrients and moisture to the soil. Through this natural form of fertilising, there is no need to dispose of the grass.

Most products are kept in stock, and we aim to deliver your order within 1- 2 working days. If the item is out of stock, we will keep you informed of any major delays. MowShop shall not be held liable for any delays in delivering goods, nor shall they be held liable for delays caused to customers work commitments due to your order not arriving on time. MowShop shall not be liable to customers for charges for hire of alternate machinery or labour. MowShop will not be liable for compensation of any kind due to late delivery of machinery or failure of machinery or damage to property from delivery. Delivery of products is usually 1-2 days from receipt of order and clearance of payment. Delivery of tractors is usually 3 – 7 working days after receipt of order. Products will be despatched to your preferred address directly from our distributors. A detailed receipt, together with a copy of the credit card payment receipt, will be posted separately to you.
Cancellation Rights: Returns & Refunds after delivery
In accordance with existing UK Distance Selling Regulations and the SafeBuy Web Trader Code you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods if you wish to return the items. To be eligible for a return, ensure that the goods remain unused and are retained in their original packaging and are in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. You must contact us before returning an item on 0345 222 1538, failure to do so may result in us being unable to action the refund process. We take no responsibility for items that are returned without prior contact or without authorisation from ourselves. You must return your products within 30 days of delivery at your own cost and risk. Returns should be sent to MOWSHOP, Allscott, Telford, Shropshire, TF6 5ED We will refund the price you paid for such goods within 30 days of the date of receiving the returned items, provided that the goods are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. Items returned without prior agreement will be refused and returned to sender resulting in you being liable for an extra charge from the couriers. If MowShop arranges to collect your items the cost to the buyer would be £36. This amount will be deducted from any refundable amount. If the returned item has been USED or isn’t in its ORIGINAL PACKAGING devaluing the goods resulting in handling them beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics or functioning of the goods we will deduct a reasonable amount from the refund, up to the contract price to cover us being unable to resell the item for its full value. We advise you take photos of the item and packaging before returning as a record of its condition, in the event of any damage acquired by the couriers when in transit. Please ensure there is no petrol or oil in the products and any batteries are disconnected before returning the items. Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. We will require a receipt or proof of purchase. The item must be boxed and package correctly as advised by the courier, a courier will refuse to collect the item if it is not properly boxed and we will charge for failed collections. The product remains yours until successfully received and signed for by a member of Mowshop.
