The scarifying unit can be conveniently set to the required working depth on the handlebar. This effective complement to your lawn care takes just a few steps per year. Proper scarifying fundamentally improves the supply of nutrients to your lawn and promotes its growth in the long term. Thanks to the working width of 38 cm and the easy-running wheels with special tread, you have all the manoeuvrability and agility you need for your twice-yearly lawn aeration with the STIHL RL 540. The sturdy polymer housing is tough enough to withstand even long-term use. For easy transport, the scarifier is also equipped with a carrying handle. The handlebar can be folded in just a few steps, so that the lawn scarifier can also be stored compactly.
The easy-running wheels of the STIHL lawn scarifiers are equipped with a traction and directional stability tread pattern. This makes the scarifiers easy to manoeuvre during lawn aeration and gives them good grip.
Working depth adjustment Using the control unit on the handlebar, the working depth of the blades can be adjusted in six stages. The scarifying unit of the STIHL lawn scarifiers can also be lowered or raised using the adjustment lever.
Carrying handle The housing of the STIHL lawn scarifier features an integrated carrying handle. It can be used to tilt or load the machine with ease. The carrying handle also acts as an impact protector and protects the housing of the scarifier when the machine makes contact with obstacles on the lawn.
Polymer housing The polymer housing of the STIHL lawn scarifiers is made from an especially sturdy polymer. The material is resistant to impact as well as heat and UV.
Foldable handlebar Thanks to the foldable handlebar, STIHL lawn scarifiers can be easily cleaned and compactly stored.
Delivery
Most products are kept in stock, and we aim to deliver your order within 1- 2 working days. If the item is out of stock, we will keep you informed of any major delays. MowShop shall not be held liable for any delays in delivering goods, nor shall they be held liable for delays caused to customers work commitments due to your order not arriving on time. MowShop shall not be liable to customers for charges for hire of alternate machinery or labour. MowShop will not be liable for compensation of any kind due to late delivery of machinery or failure of machinery or damage to property from delivery. Delivery of products is usually 1-2 days from receipt of order and clearance of payment. Delivery of tractors is usually 3 – 7 working days after receipt of order. Products will be despatched to your preferred address directly from our distributors. A detailed receipt, together with a copy of the credit card payment receipt, will be posted separately to you.
Cancellation Rights: Returns & Refunds after delivery
In accordance with existing UK Distance Selling Regulations and the SafeBuy Web Trader Code you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods if you wish to return the items. To be eligible for a return, ensure that the goods remain unused and are retained in their original packaging and are in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. You must contact us before returning an item on 0345 222 1538, failure to do so may result in us being unable to action the refund process. We take no responsibility for items that are returned without prior contact or without authorisation from ourselves. You must return your products within 30 days of delivery at your own cost and risk. Returns should be sent to MOWSHOP, Allscott, Telford, Shropshire, TF6 5ED We will refund the price you paid for such goods within 30 days of the date of receiving the returned items, provided that the goods are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. Items returned without prior agreement will be refused and returned to sender resulting in you being liable for an extra charge from the couriers. If MowShop arranges to collect your items the cost to the buyer would be £36. This amount will be deducted from any refundable amount. If the returned item has been USED or isn’t in its ORIGINAL PACKAGING devaluing the goods resulting in handling them beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics or functioning of the goods we will deduct a reasonable amount from the refund, up to the contract price to cover us being unable to resell the item for its full value. We advise you take photos of the item and packaging before returning as a record of its condition, in the event of any damage acquired by the couriers when in transit. Please ensure there is no petrol or oil in the products and any batteries are disconnected before returning the items. Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. We will require a receipt or proof of purchase. The item must be boxed and package correctly as advised by the courier, a courier will refuse to collect the item if it is not properly boxed and we will charge for failed collections. The product remains yours until successfully received and signed for by a member of Mowshop.

STIHL AS System, AI Line and AK System cordless products are not covered under warranty when used by Professional Users (including Hire, Rental and Construction Industry, Farm and Estate).
**STIHL High Pressure Cleaners are covered for an extended warranty period of 2 years in Professional use. NOTE: There will be no extension to the warranty period on products sold to the Hire, Rental and Construction Industry. The existing 1 year warranty period will remain for these products.
Ignition modules – There is a 2 year warranty on ignition modules.
**STIHL AP System Tools, Batteries and Battery products are covered for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase by the Owner, when used for the designed purpose of that product by Professional Users (including Hire, Rental and Construction Industry, Farm and Estate).
Spare parts are covered by a 1 year warranty.
